Today I'll be doing a review on an Asian skincare product that I picked up at a nearby Japanese store. Naive Facial Cleansing Foam by Kracie is popular and I've seen a lot of reviews on the Peach and Aloe scents but there haven't been many reviews on the Rich and Moist line. Since I have relatively dry skin on my cheeks and forehead, I decided to buy this one.

The Rich and Moist Facial Cleansing Foam comes in two scents, Rose and Lily (I think). The lily version comes in a deep blue tube and the one that I purchased, Rose, comes with an orange color scheme. A notable ingredient in the rose formula is royal jelly which is supposedly good for acne and has antibacterial properties.
The packaging is pretty cute and I really like how neat and clean it looks. The product actually smells like roses but it's not overwhelming at all. The smell lingers for awhile after cleansing with this product but it fades away after about half an hour.
The tube that it comes in is a medium size. I've been using this cleanser for around half a year now and I'm almost finished with it. I really like how the part of the tube where you squeeze things out is small since you can easily control the amount of product that comes out.

The cap is also secure and I've never had a problem with the cleanser leaking out. The product itself is an opaque white color. It's relatively firm and never gets watery. I find that around a dime sized amount of product is more than enough to get the job done. Since this is a cleansing foam, I add some warm water and whip it with my hands before cleansing. It does a fairly good job at foaming up and I generally have around half a handful of foam which is good enough.

After using this cleanser for half a year, I've experienced smoother skin and a decrease in acne. It doesn't leave my skin squeaky or tight, a sign that it's too drying, but my skin feels very clean overall. My skin also feels bouncier in general and more moisturized. I find that it's a good follow up cleanser to the Oil Cleansing Method which I do with mineral oil. For the price that this cleanser comes at, it's a pretty good deal for the amount and I would purchase this product again.
Pros:
- good amount of product for the money you pay
- cleanses effectively without drying out your skin
- no breakouts from this product
- skin feels smoother and bouncier
- neat packaging and nice scent
Cons:
- might be hard to find?
- product is difficult to squeeze out when it gets to the bottom...
